Took 8 pictures.I took a different route to work that morning to see if i could find some interesting photo-ops by OPRF high school. This is the stadium. |
Took 13 pictures.Marion St. train bridge. |
Took 12 pictures.Took the dogs out to Schiller and played some ultimate. I walked around the park after the games and took pics, then stopped at the Menard's on the way home and took a couple of the sunset behind Maywood Park. |

Took 10 pictures. The photographer at work. Spent some more money at Menards today. |
Took 15 pictures.Bought 3 CDs today: Michelle Shocked "Deep Natural", The Brian Setzer Orchestra's first CD, and No Doubt's first CD. "Deep Natural" seems unfocused and rambling, with no real melodic tunes. Brian Setzer first Orchestra CD is OK, but lacks the punch of the follow-up albums. No Doubt's first CD has some inventiveness, but this is a band that does better with a more produced sound. |
Took 17 pictures. The roof joists for my garage were delivered today. |
Took 14 pictures.Bee on a yellow post. |
Took 9 pictures.Emily Warren getting all kissy with Teco out at spring league ultimate. |
Took 11 pictures.First two walls up. |
Took 18 pictures.Next two walls up. This always amused me. No loitering in the waiting room. Bought Sheryl Crow's album "C'mon C'mon" today. Good first few songs, but then it sorta slows down too much for my taste by the end of the CD. |
Took 4 pictures.Roof up. Not wasting time, am i? Rob Laucius and i were starting to nail in the roof joists when my neighbor Sean came home from work. He came over with a compressor and a nail gun and helped me true up the walls and support them, then he climbed up on the roof and nailed the rest of the roof joists in. That was invaluable help, but aside from that, i built the rest of the garage myself. |
Took 9 pictures.I was up early today. This picture, looking east down Roosevelt Ave., was taken at 5:58 AM. I was looking around for anything new from the band DADA and i discovered that two of the members had formed a new group called Butterfly Jones and released an album called "Napalm Springs". It was released in the summer of 2001 but i bought it today and it is a GREAT album. Definitely one of my best purchases of the year. |
Took 17 pictures.Ready for siding and roofing. |
Took 20 pictures. My other Powerbook at work. |
Took 28 pictures.I went down to HotHouse for a benefit/auction/salsa dance party for the Jane Addams Center, where my friend Cara works. I did some experimenting with exposure times as i was shooting people. After i left HotHouse there was a fog over the city and all of the streets and buildings had this cool light on them. The Cook County Detention Center looked especially eerie with this great backlight, but unfortunately the picture i took of it came out blurry at full size. |
Took 9 pictures.Snuck the truck into the frame of the garage. |
Took 15 pictures.

Took 6 pictures.I was out on the back roof of Siren and Gary told me to take this picture of him. After he quit Siren i sent an email out with this picture attached. The caption was "Figure A: Gary Bersh leaves Siren for the last time." |
