Drove down to Shunk. Hug 84: Joanne Ford |
Packed up the summer house for the winter. Went down to Buttermilk Falls and took a bunch of pics. There'd been a lot of recent rain, so it was flowing nicely. There was a couple with a disc golf basket outside their tent at the Buttermilk Falls campground. |
Took the dogs for a walk out the grade before driving back to VT. If you look closely, you can see Seera popping out of the woods. If you look even more closely, you can see the deer running away at the top of the driveway. The chase was for naught, as usual, but fun. Hug 85: Joanne Ford |
Even though i knew that i'd have to run a lot at Regionals the next day, i hiked up to Wallingford Pond. |
Got up early and drove down to Devens, MA for ultimate Regionals. Observed a few games and kept the other observers going. Went pretty smoothly. Took some pics during the first round when no one was observing. After the games, i treated all the observers to dinner at a restaurant in Ayer, then stayed the night at the Dripps's. Lots of kids and babysitters around, but no Greg or Edna. Hug 86: Brian Abend

Day 2 of Regionals went fairly smoothly as well. Wally and i observed the final and made a combo TMF/PMF call for a dangerous play and a reaction by a player to said play. I think i made a bad offsides call too, oops. Hug 90: Lorenzo Dripps

This boot was just sitting on the bridge on the AT/LT next to Route 140. |
Not the first snow to come out of the sky this season, but the first to stick for a bit. |
Tim and i drove over to the top of where Okemo's mountain coaster was being built. |
My fall project: redo the upstairs bathroom. Got ZERO trick-or-treaters. |
