Snowed over a foot overnight. My friend Kara at Evening Song Farm posted on Facebook that morning that their 4-wheel-drive truck was up at the new farm and they were down at the old farm with a snowed-in car and a non-working snowblower. I commented with something like "but isn't it beautiful out?". Ten minutes later i got a call from Kara and drove my FJ out of my unshoveled driveway, picked up her and Ryan and Echo and drove them up to the new farm, where Kara milked the goat and Ryan set to shoveling. |

It was a dreary day and Seera and i hiked up in the woods around some sugaring tubes. At about 4:30 or so it started to lightly rain, then it turned to snain, then heavy heavy snow. At 8:00 PM the power went out and i took some long-exposure shots, lit by candles and passing vehicles. The last one shows where a man walking down the street with a flashlight went. I went to bed in the dark and the power came back on at 6:00 AM. |
