One adult snowboard lesson, which Rob took. I took out Billy and Dan and did a clinic with them for a couple hours, working on movement analysis, dealing with lesson splits, and riding some trees.
About a foot of new snow. Rob took the same two people again and i went out and rode on my own for the morning, shooting some video and wearing out my legs. I had one blue-level kid in the afternoon.

Morning beginner private with a 22-year-old woman who couldn't figure out if she was goofy or regular, but had good balance and was making turns.
Finally remembered to get to work early enough to go on the "Milk Run"—an early-access for Ski + Ride employees.
Morning private with two adult snowboarders and three skiers. The skiers went off on their own after a couple runs and i wore out the other two in the great conditions. Afternoon group of one blue-level kid.
I took the only all-day kid—a 7-year-old who was a very careful learner. She showed up an hour late for the afternoon half of the lesson and we were on the carpet all day.

Only one kid snowboard lesson today—a half-day yellow-level kid that i took.
All-day private with a lawyer who'd just moved up to Vermont and was interested in exploring tree runs. We explored a lot of them.

Morning kids lesson with two sisters working on their turns. Nothing in the afternoon.

Morning private with a mom and three daughters, all of whom were good skiers, so they had good balance and edging with the boards right off the bat. Afternoon private with a 5-year-old who couldn't heel-slide, but could stop on his toe edge. He petered out a little after 3:00.
Morning private with a brother and sister. Afternoon private with a first-timer girl who'd been skiing since she was 2. She picked it up really fast.
I woke up feeling a little sick and very tired, having hardly slept all night. I went to work and they told me to go home, so i did. Napped and watched TV all day.
I had the all-day black-level kids lesson. The projected 5-8" of snow turned out to be a few inches of sleet and freezing rain, so none of the summit lifts were open in the morning. The snow was slick and icy/slushy.
All-day black-level kids again. Scrapey snow. On my drive home, the steering was feeling squishy. Pulled into my driveway to discover that one of my tires was completely flat. Spent half an hour changing it before driving up to the farm as the sun set.
All-day black-level kids again again. Snow was a little better. Halfway through the morning, the supervisors were all trying to get ahold of me because my mother didn’t know where i was and was worried (Thursdays are usually my day off). Ugh.
All-day black-level kids again again again. Snowed all day. I had three kids in the morning, and just the one i've had for the past three days in the afternoon. She wanted to ride the halfpipe, and so we did.
One all-day first-time snowboarder today, but he was a good skier and picked it up really fast. We were riding the lifts by the afternoon.
All-day green-level today, with three kids in the morning, one of whom was faster than the other two. In the afternoon, Billy took over with those two, and i added another two who fit in with the faster student.
Taught four first-time adults today—two couples. Started snowing heavily in the afternoon.
Morning green-level lesson with two kids. Warm day, heavy, sticky snow. Went home after 1 o'clock line-up.

Morning beginner lesson with a pair of 14-year-old twins who were both skiers and skateboarders, so picked it up really quickly. Day started chilly, but got warm in the bright sunshine. I helped an adult student on the bunny hill for a bit in the afternoon before folding her into Dan's class.
Morning private with a 9-year-old, which turned into an all-day private. In the afternoon i took out the dad, then the mom, then did a last run with dad and two kids (one on skis).
Morning level-1 adult lesson (one person), then a green-level in the afternoon with the twins that i had on Friday.
