Flew to Denver, rented a car (upgraded to a 4WD) and drove to Silverthorne. I-70 east of the Eisenhower Tunnel was fine but it was snowing and snowpacked on the other side.

Arrived at Keystone Ski Area to find that most af the PSIA/AASI clinics had been cancelled due to lack of participants and all of the snowboard levels had been lumped into one class. I think there were 7 of us, plus the instructor. So we all rode around the mountain and i was one of the better riders. Good snow though. After i got off the mountain i went to see Catch Me If You Can, which was pretty good. Then i stopped by the Borders Bookstore there and bought 2 CDs to listen to in the rental car since i couldn't pick up any radio stations: David Bowie "Best Of Bowie", and No Doubt "Rock Steady". Both good.

Spent the day in the clinic and got a little one-on-one time with the instructor at the end of the day, then i changed out of my snowboard gear and drove back down to the airport and flew home.
